I am a senior journalist with over 29 years of experience across television, print and digital. Apart from leading major television news brands at Network18, Zee Media and ABP News Network in the past two decades, I have successfully launched/re-launched several TV news channels, including ABP Asmita, Zee Hindustan, Zee 24 Kalak, News18 Bihar/Jharkhand, News18 Gujarati and News18 JKLH. As an editorial leader, with 360-degree exposure in setting up broadcast and digital platforms/teams, managing bureaus/editorial headquarters, leading input- output and related digital, social platforms. My journalistic experience ranges from managing regional language platforms to national and global news coverage. In my current role as Group Editor- Integration and Convergence, I am responsible for monitoring, coordination and execution of several projects across the News18 Network. 

I am a specialist in political affairs and public policy; tracking Narendra Modi’s political career since he took over as chief minister of Gujarat in 2001 to his current office as Prime Minister of India since May 2014. Extensively covered PM’s visits to several countries including USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, China, South Korea, Mauritius, Bhutan, Nepal and Myanmar. I am a PhD in Mass Communication, regularly invited as guest faculty, expert panel member/ advisory board member to several media institutions and universities, including Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi; Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal; Manipal University, Jaipur(MUJ); UPES, Dehradun; MICA, Ahmedabad and Pandit Deendayal Energy University (Formerly PDPU), Gandhinagar.
